About This Course
The Professional Tech Foundations course is the rock-solid 3-month base of the entire TechOver program. Whether you’ve never written a line of code or you’ve only played around with HTML once, this phase takes you from zero to a level where you can comfortably choose and excel in AI, Flutter, Cloud/DevOps, or Full-Stack.
We don’t just teach tools — we teach the mindset, discipline, and modern workflows that separate those who finish strong from those who drop out.

This month is dedicated to revision and completing any leftover classes and tasks, and then the Capstone Project follows.
Every student must complete and present ONE of these projects to graduate from Foundations. These projects are designed to:
- Force you to use Python + HTML/CSS/JS + Git + Vibe Coding together
- Give you a portfolio piece you can show family, clients, or future employers immediately
- Make you feel like a real developer in just 12 weeks
PROJECT OPTIONS:
1. Personal Portfolio Website + Python Backend
Build a stunning single-page portfolio (HTML/CSS/JS + Tailwind) that shows your photo, bio, skills, and links. Add a Python FastAPI backend that serves your project list as JSON (deployed on Render/Railway). Vibe Coding twist: Use Claude/Cursor to generate 70% of the code from your prompt.
2. Naija Price Tracker (Real-World Money Maker)
A web app that scrapes or uses API to show current dollar, fuel, or rice prices in Nigeria. Frontend: Responsive HTML/CSS/JS | Backend: Python script that runs daily | Deployed live + hosted on GitHub Pages + Render. Many students sell this exact app to blogs or churches for ₦50k–₦150k.
3. JAMB/WAEC Past Question Quiz App
Fully functional quiz website with timer, score tracker, and “explain answer” feature. HTML/CSS/JS frontend + Python script that reads questions from CSV/JSON. Bonus: Add a “Vibe-mode” button that uses Grok/Claude to explain any question in Pidgin.
4. Church/Mosque/School Management Dashboard
Beautiful dashboard showing members/students, tithe/fee records, events calendar. Static frontend (HTML/CSS/JS) + fake data from Python generator. Super common first paid gig in Nigeria — clients pay ₦100k–₦300k for this.
5. Automated WhatsApp Bulk Sender + Web Control Panel Python script (using pywhatkit or Twilio) that sends custom messages to 100+ numbers. Control panel in HTML/CSS/JS where user uploads CSV and clicks “Send”. Huge demand from politicians, churches, schools — students have made ₦500k+ selling this.
6. Personal Finance Tracker for Naija Hustlers
Web app to track income, expenses, side hustles, dollar vs naira savings. Python for calculations + localStorage or SQLite + clean responsive UI. Add currency converter API (free from exchangerate.host).
7. Afro-Vibe Landing Page Generator
A tool where user types business name, slogan, and colours → AI (vibe coding) generates complete HTML/CSS website → one-click download. Uses Claude API or free Cursor → perfect showcase of vibe coding power.

Plus, our mindset workshops in Month 1 help you manage the learning curve even with a busy schedule.
Just 2–3 hours per day, 5 days a week – that's our sweet spot for unstoppable progress. The program is built with busy fellows in mind: pre-recorded classes let you learn at your pace, and live sessions are scheduled evenings/weekends. Past students with 9–5 jobs, NYSC, or university balanced it perfectly with our time management workshops.
Yes, fully online via our engaging LMS! Pre-recorded videos drop weekly for self-paced learning. Live training happens twice a week (Tuesdays & Saturdays, 7–9 PM WAT) for deep dives, Q&A, and group discussions. Recordings are available if you miss one. No travel needed – join from anywhere in the world
No laptop required at the start! You can complete the first 3–4 months 100% on your smartphone (Android/iOS) via our mobile-friendly LMS. For hands-on coding, use free online tools like Replit or Google Colab. From Month 4, borrow a laptop, visit a cyber café, or qualify for our free laptops (top-5 performers by June 2026) or 0% interest installment scheme from April 2026.
We have pre-recorded sessions (released weekly) and are supported by live sessions (which are held twice a week).
Every live session is recorded and then posted to the learners' portal. This would be useful for anyone who missed the class to access them later. The recording also aids in further learning and revision.
Apart from the recorded and live sessions, we add our learners to communities based on their courses, allowing them to interact with course instructors, community moderators, and fellow learners, who are always available to help with any issues relating to the course. Learners may also directly contact their instructors via email and other communication channels provided.
For a more personalized experience, you may subscribe to our Private Training Services. This is however optional, it comes at an extra cost and is based on request.
We got you! Lessons are in clear, simple English, but mentors explain in Pidgin during live sessions if needed. Community chats often mix English/Pidgin.
Plus, vibe coding tools like Grok/Claude can translate code explanations.
Each course you enroll for, appears in your personal learner's portal and can be found under "My Courses" tab on your dashboard.
Your login information comes with your course access email.
Quizzes are short (10–15 mins) and focus on understanding, not memorization – aim for 70% to pass. Projects are hands-on and fun, with rubrics shared upfront. We provide templates, peer reviews, and mentor feedback. Even if you score low first time, resubmit within the grace period. It's all about growth!
No worries – life happens! We have a flexible grace period of 7–10 days for most assignments. If you're falling behind, reach out to your mentor or the WhatsApp community for help. As long as you maintain your monthly ₦1,000 donation and show consistent effort, you won't be removed. Many students catch up during weekends or with peer study groups.
Yes, switch free anytime! Foundations prepares you for all four tracks (AI/ML, Flutter, Cloud/DevOps, Full-Stack). At the end of Month 3, we'll guide you based on your strengths and interests. No penalties – many students pivot after trying vibe coding or Python.
Free data access starts Month 4 for all active students (covers LMS and tools like Colab). For laptops: Top-5 overall performers by June 2026 get brand-new ones free. Everyone qualifies for the 0% interest installment scheme from April 2026 – just maintain good participation and donations.
The minimum ₦1,000 (or $1/£1) monthly donation keeps the sponsored program running – covering servers, mentors, and free data from Month 4. It's your "skin in the game" to stay committed. If you miss one, just communicate via WhatsApp; we understand tough months. We only pause access after 2 missed months with no effort.

Yes, from Month 5–6 in the specialization phase! You'll work on live paid projects (e.g., simple websites or apps for churches/SMEs) through our network. Past students earned ₦400k–₦1.5M before graduating. Foundations sets you up with portfolio projects that attract your first gigs.
Yes, definitely! Participants may pay more than the minimum requirement of ₦1,000/$1/£1. We have only specified the minimum donation to make it affordable to anyone interested. More money is needed to keep the program running and to improve its values and offerings.
Verifiable Digital Certificates cost money to make.
Beyond the platform cost, every certificate requires:
- Manual review and verification of your quizzes, projects, capstone, and overall participation
- Mentor time to grade, give feedback, and approve graduation
- Administrative follow-up to ensure accuracy and fairness
These are real human hours and logistics that keep the quality sky-high.
That’s why we charge a small one-time fee that covers everything:
- Professional Tech Foundations Certificate → ₦5,000 / $4 / £3
- Final Specialization Certificate (AI, Flutter, Cloud or Full-Stack) → ₦10,000 / $8 / £6
These prices may be subject to slight changes depending on production and processing costs at the time the certificates are prepared.
